What I Believe


1. I believe Jesus cast out demons, healed the sick, raised the dead, and performed many signs, wonders and miracles.

2. I believe Healing is for Today!

3. I believe Jesus sent out the 12 with Power & Authority

4. I believe Jesus sent out the 72 with Power & Authority

5. I believe Jesus sent out the Church with Power & Authority

6. I believe Apostles are in the Church today

7. I believe Apostles are marked by signs, wonders & miracles

8. I believe In the POWER of prayer

9. I believe In Truth 




 

1. I Believe


Jesus, during His earthly ministry, was anointed with the Holy Spirit and with power. Jesus was able to cast out demons, heal the sick, raise the dead, and perform many signs, wonders and miracles because God was with Him.


And you know that God
anointed Jesus of Nazareth
 with the Holy Spirit and with power.

 Then Jesus went around doing good
 and healing all who were oppressed
by the devil, for God was with him.
Acts 10:38 N.L.T.

2. I Believe


Healing is for us Today!


Jesus Christ is the same
yesterday, today, and forever
Hebrews 13:8 N.K.J.V.



Bless the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all His benefits:
who forgives all your iniquities,
who heals all your diseases,
Psalm 103:2-3 N.K.J.V.



who Himself bore our sins in His own body
on the tree that we, having died to sins,
might live for righteousness—
by whose stripes you were healed.
1 Peter 2:24 N.K.J.V.



For no matter how many promises
 God has made,  they are “Yes” in Christ.
And so through him the “Amen”
is spoken by us to the glory of God.
2 Corinthians 1:20 N.I.V.


 



3. I Believe


Jesus sent out the 12 disciples with Power & Authority


Then he called his twelve disciples together,

and gave them power and authority
over all devils, and to cure diseases.

And he sent them to preach the
kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
Luke 9:1-2 K.J.V.



So they set out and went
from village to village,
preaching the gospel and
healing people everywhere.
Luke 9:6 N.I.V.


Jesus called his twelve disciples
 together and gave them authority
to cast out evil spirits and to heal
every kind of disease and illness.
Matthew 10:1 N.L.T.


Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure
those with leprosy, and cast out demons.
Give as freely as you have received!
 Matthew 10:8 N.L.T.


Then He appointed twelve,
that they might be with Him and
 that He might send them out to preach,
and to have power to heal sicknesses
 and to cast out demons:

and anointed with oil many who

 4. I Believe


Jesus sent out the 72 with Power & Authority


After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others
 and sent them two by two ahead of him to every
town and place where he was about to go.
Luke 10:1 N.I.V.


The seventy-two returned with joy and said,
"Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name."
 Luke 10:17 N.I.V.

5. I Believe


Jesus sent out the Church with Power & Authority


And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world,
and preach the gospel to every creature.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;
but he that believeth not shall be damned.

And these signs shall follow them that believe;
In my name shall they cast out devils;
they shall speak with new tongues;
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink
any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them;
they shall lay hands on the sick,
and they shall recover.

After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them,
he was taken up into heaven and he
sat at the right hand of God.

Then the disciples went out and preached
everywhere, and the Lord worked with
them and confirmed his word by
the signs that accompanied it.

Behold, I send the Promise of My Father

upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem
until you are endued with power from on high.”

But you shall receive power when the
Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you

and to the end of the earth.”

witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus.

In the POWER of prayer! The prayer of a righteous man, the prayer offered in faith, the prayer of agreement, which may include the laying on of hands, prayer cloths, and/or anointing the sick with oil.
